Chris Thater Memorial Concert featuring: FETISH LANE

Saturday, August 23rd
Concert starts at 6:30pm
Recreation Park, Binghamton
after the Chris Thater Memorial Races

Folk with a big fat kick! A kick stuffed with a little folk, rock, americana, and whatever else they decide to sprinkle in. Their lyrics will paint pictures in your head. The three part harmonies will blow you away. The melodies will grab you by the ear and drag you along. This is all backed by an energetic percussionist who is sure to engage you in his visual performance style.

Held and Gliha have been playing, recording, and writing music together since 1996. In 1999, Edick started playing with Ken and Ed and the emerging band. The addition of Edick's vocals and guitar work completed the signature sound of the three part harmonies Fetish Lane is noted for. Shortly after the addition of Edick, Lorimer entered the scene as a percussionist. His energy, funky rhythms, and personality added new life to the band, especially during their live performances. After the foursome was complete, the band headed to the studio and released their first compact disc, "Acoustic Brew", on July 7th, 2001. In June of 2002, the band released a live album entitled "Live at the Majors Inn". In 2005 they released the album "Time" and 2007 marked the release of their latest studio project, "Beautiful Mule".

"Fetish Lane is feel good music... boasting harmonies reminiscent of CSNY, and feel-good percussion... This band makes me happy.” –Music Outlook Magazine
